George delivered a fantastic service- I am very pleased. It is clear that George is very experienced and knowledgeable about a range of different pests. His customer service was excellent too. Also went above and beyond and provided advice on sealing vent holes even though this was unrelated to the primary problem. Thank you George.Posted on Google![]()

Pest2Control very helpful, polite on time and reassuring. Needed help with catching squirrel/s in loft space. With 3 visits, cost similar to other pest control groups that quoted. Great team to complete this task. Thank you 😊Posted on Google![]()

An excellent job. Had a mouse issue and George was thorough. One payment but three visits. Each time mice were caught but last time - none. Advice on blocking up the air vents also helpful. They also fitted the one way rat valve in the sewer. Great job.Posted on Google![]()

The large Victorian and Edwardian houses around the Village, the Ridgway and the roads near the Common often have exactly what moths look for: wool carpets and stair runners, antique and handmade rugs, wardrobes of wool, cashmere and silk, and spare rooms and lofts that aren’t opened for months. The damage is done by the larvae, which feed in dark, undisturbed places, along carpet edges, under heavy furniture, beneath rugs and inside stored clothing.
By the time you notice holes in a favourite jumper or a bare patch on a rug, the moths have usually been there for a while, and the cost of the damage can be high. Moth control is one of our specialist areas. Our carpet moth treatment targets the larvae and eggs as well as the adults, and we’ll advise on protecting valuable textiles once the treatment is complete.
Have valuable rugs professionally cleaned and turned regularly, vacuum underneath them, not just on top, and store wool and cashmere clean, in sealed bags or boxes. Moving and airing clothes in wardrobes from time to time disturbs any eggs and larvae before they settle.
Wimbledon Common, Wimbledon Park, Cannizaro Park and the mature gardens of the Village give grey squirrels some of the best habitat in south-west London. Large period houses with complex roofs, dormers and timber fascias give them plenty of ways in, usually from overhanging branches. Inside, they shred insulation, chew stored belongings and gnaw on cables, which is a fire risk. Our squirrel control service removes them within the law and seals the roof so they can’t return.
Below the hill, the streets between the town centre, Wimbledon Park and the railway are lined with Victorian and Edwardian terraces, many converted into flats, along with mansion blocks and newer apartments near the station. Suspended timber floors, shared voids and the gaps left by conversions and kitchen refits let mice move between neighbouring homes. Our mice control service clears them, and rodent proofing seals the routes, using methods that keep floor voids ventilated and suit older buildings.
Many period houses here have basements or lower ground floor flats, either original or dug out more recently. These sit closest to old drains, soil pipes and the voids under the house, and they’re often where mice and rats appear first. New basement work can leave gaps around service entries, so we check these carefully during the inspection.
Wimbledon Broadway, the Centre Court shopping centre, Wimbledon Village high street and the streets around the station are full of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and offices. Restaurant kitchens face mice, rats, cockroaches and flies, and food businesses must show environmental health officers that pests are being controlled. Offices often see mice moving through ceiling voids and cable routes. Our commercial pest control contracts include regular visits, arranged early, late or at weekends, and we work discreetly so customers and staff aren’t disturbed.
The area has plenty of rented flats, and visitors arrive from all over the world every summer, many staying in short-term lets and guest rooms. That steady flow of luggage is how bed bugs travel. If a guest or tenant reports bites, acting quickly keeps the treatment shorter and stops the problem spreading to other rooms or flats. We inspect thoroughly, treat with steam and professional insecticide over three visits, and can work around bookings and changeovers.
Buying a period house is a big investment, and a standard homebuyer survey won’t include a specialist pest check. Droppings get cleaned up before viewings and fresh decoration covers gnaw marks. A new property pest inspection checks the loft and roof for squirrels, the floor voids, basement and kitchen for mice and rats, and the carpets, rugs and fitted wardrobes for moths, so you know exactly what you’re taking on. We can inspect before exchange, with the seller’s agreement, or straight after completion before your furniture arrives.
Large gardens with compost heaps, ponds, bird feeders and sheds, along with the railway lines and the Beverley Brook on the far side of the Common, give rats food and routes between properties. Rats usually settle under sheds and decking first, then look for a way into the house through damaged air bricks or old drains. Our rat control service finds where they’re living and how they’re getting in.
Family homes with cats and dogs can see fleas, particularly in late summer and autumn, and new owners often find fleas hatching from carpets a few days after moving into a house where pets lived before. Our flea treatment deals with the eggs and larvae in the floors and furnishings. In spring and summer, black garden ants nesting under patios and terraces find their way into kitchens, and our ant control service treats the nest rather than just the trail.
