George delivered a fantastic service- I am very pleased. It is clear that George is very experienced and knowledgeable about a range of different pests. His customer service was excellent too. Also went above and beyond and provided advice on sealing vent holes even though this was unrelated to the primary problem. Thank you George.Posted on Google![]()

Pest2Control very helpful, polite on time and reassuring. Needed help with catching squirrel/s in loft space. With 3 visits, cost similar to other pest control groups that quoted. Great team to complete this task. Thank you 😊Posted on Google![]()

An excellent job. Had a mouse issue and George was thorough. One payment but three visits. Each time mice were caught but last time - none. Advice on blocking up the air vents also helpful. They also fitted the one way rat valve in the sewer. Great job.Posted on Google![]()

Rye Lane and the streets around it are packed with grocers, butchers, fishmongers, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and takeaways, many in older buildings with basements and shared walls. Warm kitchens, constant deliveries and food stored in back rooms make it ideal territory for German cockroaches. They hide behind and under equipment, in the motors of fridges and freezers, and in the gaps around sinks and pipework, and they breed quickly once established.
Cockroaches in a food business are a serious problem at an environmental health inspection. Treatment has to reach exactly where they’re living, and it works best alongside a deep clean and checks on incoming stock and packaging. Our cockroach control page explains how we treat them.
Cockroaches and stored product insects often arrive in cardboard boxes, sacks of rice and flour, and crates of fresh produce. Unpacking deliveries away from food preparation areas, breaking down cardboard straight away and storing dry goods in sealed containers all reduce the risk of bringing pests in.
The railway viaducts that cross the area, the arches beneath them, the bin stores behind shops and the waste left out at the end of trading all give rats food and cover. Once they’re established around the back of a parade, they burrow under paving, get into drains and find their way into storerooms and basements through gaps around pipes and doors.
Dealing with rats in a busy commercial area means treating the activity, finding the burrows and entry points, and sorting out how waste is stored and collected. Our rat control service covers all three, and our commercial pest control contracts include regular visits, arranged before opening or after closing so trading isn’t disrupted.
Where several businesses share a bin area, one overflowing bin can keep rats coming back for everyone. It helps to agree a routine between neighbours: lids kept closed, nothing left on the ground and collections frequent enough that bins don’t overflow. We can advise everyone on the parade at the same time.
Away from the high street, Peckham’s residential streets, around Bellenden Road, Choumert Road, the Copeland area and up towards Nunhead and Peckham Rye, are lined with Victorian terraces, many of them split into flats. Suspended timber floors, old air bricks and the gaps left around pipes and cables during conversion give mice an easy network of routes, often running between several flats in the same building.
That’s why mice can reappear after one flat has been treated. The most effective approach is to treat the affected flats together and seal the gaps between them with rodent proofing. Our mice control page explains the signs to look for.
Peckham has a lot of rented flats and shared houses, and with tenants moving in and out regularly, bed bugs are a common problem. They arrive in luggage, second-hand furniture and mattresses, and spread from room to room and between neighbouring flats. We inspect every affected room, treat with steam and professional insecticide over three visits, and explain to landlords and tenants what they need to do to prepare.
For landlords and letting agents, an inspection between tenancies helps you hand over a flat that’s clear and gives everyone a clear starting point. If a tenant reports bites or droppings, acting quickly keeps the problem from spreading to neighbouring flats and keeps the treatment shorter.
Shops selling flour, rice, grains, pulses, spices, dried fruit and nuts in bulk can find weevils, flour beetles or pantry moths in their stock. These insects usually arrive in an infested sack or carton, then spread from bag to bag through folded tops and thin packaging, and they can quickly affect a whole storeroom. Lost stock and customer complaints follow. We identify the species, track down every source, treat the shelving and storage areas and advise on stock rotation and storage. Our stored product insect control page explains more.
In warm weather, flies breed in bins, grease traps, drains and food waste, and kitchens with doors propped open let them straight in. Flies around food are another concern at a hygiene inspection. Finding and removing the breeding source comes first, and our fly control page explains how we track it down.
Peckham Rye Park, Peckham Rye Common, Burgess Park and the cemeteries at Nunhead and Camberwell give grey squirrels and rats plenty of green space close to housing. Squirrels get into lofts through gaps at the eaves, and garden rats are drawn to compost bins, bird feeders and sheds. Our squirrel control service removes squirrels and seals the roof.
We cover Peckham town centre, Rye Lane, Peckham Rye, Queens Road, Nunhead, Bellenden and the streets around Burgess Park, across the SE15 postcode and the edges of SE22. Peckham is part of the borough of Southwark, and our Southwark pest control page covers Bermondsey, Camberwell, Dulwich and the rest of the borough.
We also cover neighbouring Lewisham and Lambeth. See all the areas we cover.
In most cases, yes. We schedule treatment before opening, after closing or on a quieter day, and explain any areas that need to be kept clear while the treatment takes effect.
Yes. We can inspect the premises, treat the activity, advise on the proofing and hygiene issues raised and help you get ready for any follow-up visit.
In converted houses, mice often live in shared floor voids and neighbouring flats. Unless those areas are treated and the gaps sealed, they can return after a single-flat treatment.
