George delivered a fantastic service- I am very pleased. It is clear that George is very experienced and knowledgeable about a range of different pests. His customer service was excellent too. Also went above and beyond and provided advice on sealing vent holes even though this was unrelated to the primary problem. Thank you George.Posted on Google![]()

Pest2Control very helpful, polite on time and reassuring. Needed help with catching squirrel/s in loft space. With 3 visits, cost similar to other pest control groups that quoted. Great team to complete this task. Thank you 😊Posted on Google![]()

An excellent job. Had a mouse issue and George was thorough. One payment but three visits. Each time mice were caught but last time - none. Advice on blocking up the air vents also helpful. They also fitted the one way rat valve in the sewer. Great job.Posted on Google![]()

Most people don’t know what they are dealing with when they first call, and that’s fine. Start with what you are seeing, and use this as a guide to the most likely cause.
Itchy bites in lines or clusters that appear overnight usually point to bed bugs, especially if you have spotted small dark marks on the mattress seams. Bites around the ankles and lower legs, often after coming home from holiday or moving house, are more typical of fleas. Persistent itching with no visible insect can sometimes be mites.
Irregular holes in wool jumpers, suits and rugs, or bald patches along the edge of the carpet, are classic signs of clothes and carpet moths. It’s the larvae that do the damage, not the moths you see flying. Moths are one of our specialist areas, and our moth control page explains how we treat them.
Lines of small insects heading to food are usually ants. Brown or black insects that scatter when you switch the light on at night are more likely to be cockroaches, and they need dealing with quickly. Tiny beetles or moths in flour, cereal, rice and pet food are stored product insects, which come in with food and breed in the cupboard.
Small, fast, silvery insects around the bath, kitchen sink or under damp flooring are silverfish. They are a sign of damp and humidity, and they can damage paper, books and wallpaper.
A few flies in summer is normal. Large numbers indoors, flies gathering at windows every autumn or a steady stream of flies with no obvious source usually means something is breeding nearby. Our fly control service finds and deals with the source.
House spiders are most noticeable from late summer into autumn, when males leave their webs to look for a mate. If you are seeing large numbers or webs building up quickly in lofts, garages and outbuildings, spider control can reduce them.
Shop-bought sprays and powders kill the insects you can see, but most of an infestation is out of sight. Eggs, larvae and nymphs hide in mattress seams, carpet edges, wall voids and behind kitchen units, and many survive the first spray. A few weeks later the next generation hatches and the problem returns.
Getting rid of insects properly means identifying the species, finding where they are breeding, and treating in a way that reaches every stage of the life cycle. That usually means more than one treatment, timed around how that insect develops.
We start by inspecting the property to confirm what you have and how far it has spread. Before any treatment, we explain what we found, what we are going to use and what you need to do to prepare, so there are no surprises.
Treatments are matched to the insect. Bed bug treatment can include steam as well as insecticide, moth treatment focuses on carpets, wardrobes and soft furnishings, and cockroach treatment targets the warm, hidden areas where they breed. Most insect treatments are carried out over our three-visit programme, so we can check progress and treat any insects that hatch after the first visit.
We treat insects in family homes, flats, rented properties and HMOs, where bed bugs and fleas can spread between rooms and tenancies. In busy areas like Southwark and Peckham, with dense housing and plenty of restaurants and takeaways, cockroaches and ants are among the most common calls.
For restaurants, cafes, food shops and offices, our commercial pest control contracts include regular inspections to catch insect problems early. If you are buying or moving into a property, a new property pest inspection checks for insects as well as rodents. And if it’s mice or rats you are dealing with, see our rodent control page.
It depends on the insect, the size of the property and how widespread the problem is. Call us with a few details and we will give you an estimate over the phone.
We plan every treatment around the people and animals living in the property. We will tell you how long to keep children and pets out of treated areas and any other precautions, before we start.
It depends on the insect and the treatment. For some, you will need to stay out of the treated rooms for a few hours. We will tell you exactly what is needed when we book.
Many insects start to reduce within days of the first treatment, but eggs can hatch afterwards, which is why follow-up visits matter. Keep an eye out and let us know what you see between visits.
Rentokil-trained and Level 2 certified, so you know you’re in safe hands.
We don’t just show up, treat, and leave. We walk you through exactly what we found, why it happened, and what we’re doing to fix it.

We are Level 2 certified technicians, fully insured, and members of BPCA, BASIS Prompt and RSPH. You’re in safe, qualified hands.
