George delivered a fantastic service- I am very pleased. It is clear that George is very experienced and knowledgeable about a range of different pests. His customer service was excellent too. Also went above and beyond and provided advice on sealing vent holes even though this was unrelated to the primary problem. Thank you George.Posted on Google![]()

Pest2Control very helpful, polite on time and reassuring. Needed help with catching squirrel/s in loft space. With 3 visits, cost similar to other pest control groups that quoted. Great team to complete this task. Thank you 😊Posted on Google![]()

An excellent job. Had a mouse issue and George was thorough. One payment but three visits. Each time mice were caught but last time - none. Advice on blocking up the air vents also helpful. They also fitted the one way rat valve in the sewer. Great job.Posted on Google![]()

With St George’s Hospital and its university on the doorstep, the area has a large number of shared houses, HMOs and rented rooms, home to hospital staff, students and young professionals. People move in and out throughout the year, often with second-hand furniture, mattresses and luggage, and that’s exactly how bed bugs spread. Once they’re in one room, they quickly move to the next through gaps around skirting boards, pipes and cables.
The first signs are itchy bites in lines or clusters, small dark spots along mattress seams, and rusty marks on sheets. In shared houses, treating one room rarely works, so we inspect every bedroom and the shared areas, treat all affected rooms at the same time with steam and professional insecticide over three visits, and give everyone in the house clear instructions on how to prepare.
Many people in the area work shifts, and we know it isn’t always easy to be out of the house during the day. We’ll agree treatment times that work for everyone in the property, and explain exactly how long rooms need to be left before they can be used again.
Upper Tooting Road and Tooting High Street are famous for their restaurants, sweet centres, grocers and takeaways, and the two indoor markets at Tooting Broadway are packed with food stalls. Warm kitchens, deliveries arriving all day and food stored in back rooms are ideal for German cockroaches, which hide behind equipment, in fridge motors and around pipework, and breed fast. Rats and mice are drawn to bin areas and storerooms at the back of the parades.
Food businesses must show environmental health officers that pests are under control. Our cockroach control page explains how we treat them, and our commercial pest control contracts include regular visits arranged before opening, after closing or at weekends.
In indoor markets, units share walls, ceilings and service routes, so pests move easily between stalls. We treat your unit and look at where activity may be coming from next door, so you know what can be fixed on your side and what needs raising with the market operator.
The Totterdown Fields estate, built in the early 1900s as one of London’s first council cottage estates, and the Victorian and Edwardian terraces of Tooting Bec and Furzedown make up much of the area. These houses have suspended timber floors, air bricks, chimney breasts and party walls shared along the terrace, and mice use all of them to move from house to house. Many have also been extended or converted into flats, leaving gaps around new pipework.
Our mice control service clears them, and rodent proofing seals the air bricks, pipe entries and gaps under kitchen units so they don’t come back each autumn.
Droppings behind the kitchen kickboards or in the boiler cupboard, scratching under the floor in the evening and nibbled food in cupboards are the usual first signs. If a neighbour has mentioned mice, it’s worth having your own house checked, as they can reach you through the shared floor void and party walls.
Tooting Common, Tooting Bec Common and the gardens around Furzedown give grey squirrels plenty of mature trees, and they get into lofts through gaps at the eaves. The railway lines and the course of the River Graveney give rats routes between gardens, where they nest under sheds and decking and look for a way into the house through damaged air bricks or old drains. Our rat control and squirrel control pages explain how we deal with both.
Warm weather brings two common problems. Fleas often appear in rented rooms and flats where previous tenants had pets, because flea pupae wait in carpets and between floorboards until someone moves in, and bites around the ankles start a few days later. Our flea treatment deals with the eggs and larvae in the floors, not just the adult fleas.
In restaurants, takeaways and market units, flies breed in bins, grease traps and food waste, and kitchens with doors propped open let them straight in. Finding and removing the breeding source comes first, and our fly control page explains how we track it down.
A lot of our work here is with landlords and agents managing rented rooms and flats. Problems often surface at the start or end of a tenancy, or when one tenant reports bites, droppings or noises that turn out to affect the whole house. We explain what caused the problem so it’s clear who should deal with it, treat affected rooms together and give tenants straightforward instructions. A new property pest inspection between tenancies helps you start each let with a property that’s clear.
We cover Tooting Broadway, Tooting Bec, Upper Tooting, Totterdown Fields, Furzedown and the streets around the Common and St George’s Hospital, across the SW17 postcode. Tooting is part of the borough of Wandsworth, and our Wandsworth pest control page covers Balham, Battersea, Putney and the rest of the borough.
We also cover neighbouring Streatham, Wimbledon and Mitcham. See all the areas we cover.
Yes, and it’s the most effective way. We inspect every room, treat all affected areas at the same time and explain to everyone in the house what they need to do.
It depends on how the bed bugs arrived and what your tenancy agreement says. If they were there before you moved in or are coming from another room or flat, the landlord is usually expected to deal with it. Report signs to your landlord or agent as soon as you notice them.
In most cases, yes. We schedule treatment before opening, after closing or on a quieter day, and explain any areas that need to be kept clear.
